Project Details

Developed with a focus on community, housing for artists, and sustainability, Mamook Tokatee provides 56 affordable housing units, comprised of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment units. 20 of the units offer preference for Native American households. The four-story, 49,500 square foot development includes a community room, art space, and five artist lofts on the ground floor.

The building’s name means “to make beautiful” in the Chinook Wawa, with design inspired by Native culture and architecture. Sustainability features include energy efficient design, low VOCs, water conservation, air sealing, and thermal performance.
