Project Details

Housing four distinct building occupants, this seven-story, 175,000-square-foot project was developed in an integrated effort highlighting collaboration and innovation. The Vanport Building consists of retail space, lobby, classrooms, student programs, administrative offices, dental facilities, and shared resources between the PSU Graduate School of Education, the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health, the PCC Dental Programs, and the City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability.

Sustainable features of the building include a green roof, a large stormwater planter, solar panels, and a dedicated outside air system with radiant heating and cooling. The building is designed to achieve a minimum LEED Gold certification.
